Here is a video on how to make your own shea butter pomade. It’s perfect for braids and twists and if you need extra hold for your braid-out, twist-outs, or bantu-knot outs you can always add some gel (for me eco styler gel). jazzybee445 Here is the recipe 6 table spoons of shea butter 2 table spoons of aloe ver gel 2 table spoons of castor oil 1 table spoon and 1 teaspoon of coconut oil Add any fragrance you would like (or ) if you dont want to add one it’s fine the way it is… “I like it like That(s.thaens)” by stefsax ccmixter.org is licensed under a Creative Commons license: creativecommons.org natural hair
I made a shea butter mixture to try on my hair for moisture. I melted african shea butter and added several other oils. I then put the liquid mixture in the refrigarator for about an hour. I hope you enjoy this video. Pls comment, rate, subscribe.

@IAmANaturalBeauty91 Aww your welcome! I hope it works out great for you!! Im def. gonna try and post more homemade recipes because i hear you girl! it def. is expensive buying stuff that you can make at home on your own.
Thank-you ! im gonna try this…it was becoming a little too expensive to buy other peoples mix
i also make a mix of shea butter, i add coconut oil, and aloe vera gel/juice to it though. so far its the most moisturizing thing i’ve found, especially now that it is getting cold. i’ve also heard of making a spritz using a little olive oil works too, since glycerine is not good to use in the winter. it can dry your hair out… so disappointing lol i was loving my glycerine mix lol. i’ve yet to try the olive oil as a spritz, but i plan to really soon
Thanks again I hope they are helping!
